Used Cell Phones Wanted!

cell phone.pngWe can earn money for our school and help the environment at the same time by recycling used cell phones. All you need to do is discharge your battery (let it run out but please leave it in the phone) and delete any personal information.
Have your child drop the phone in the pink collection box inside the school by the front door on the way to class. We only receive money if the phones are in good shape without cracked hinges or broken interfaces. Ask your family, neighbors and co-workers to make a donation to our school.

Got Batteries?

 Screen shot 2012-04-03 at 12.23.02 PM.pngSTOP!
Don’t harm our ecosystem by throwing away drained batteries! If you have depleted household batteries we have the solution. Now at Salt Creek you will find a battery bucket where you can drop off your worn out batteries. The orange battery bin will be located just outside the office in the main hall alongside other donations. More information will be coming home soon, but don’t wait! Get a baggy or container, bring in those used batteries and help save our Earth... one battery at a time.
